The City of Milton is in the final stages of preparing the design and other documentation for significant street and utility work to be completed this year on Front Street and Windsor Court.
A Public Information Meeting is scheduled for May 9 at 11 a.m. at 144 Merchant Row (next to Kristopher Agnew - American Family Insurance Agent). This is an opportunity for the public to view the plans and ask any questions about the project prior to the plans being finalized and sent out for bids.
One of the most noticeable changes when the projects are complete will be the construction of an extension of Ansley Avenue to create a connection from Front Street to the southern parking lot on Merchant Row. The photo shows where the extension will be located. This change is included in the City of Milton Comprehensive Plan.
Anyone interested in learning more about these projects is invited to attend the meeting on May 9. If you are unable to attend but still have questions, please contact Director of Public Works Howard Robinson at (608) 868-6914 or City Administrator Al Hulick at (608) 868-6900 ext. 6.
