To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the merger of Milton and Milton Junction the City of Milton Historic Preservation Commission is coordinating a scavenger hunt focused on the community’s historic resources and an event called 50 Years Together.
Participants in the scavenger hunt will have from October 28, 2017 until November 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. to complete the scavenger hunt and enter their form in a drawing for a prize. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize. Scavenger Hunt forms will be available on the city’s website (www.milton-wi.gov/ScavengerHunt) and at City Hall, 710 S. Janesville Street, on October 28, 2017.
50 Years Together will take place on November 5, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Milton House Museum, and it will be themed like a birthday party for Milton with cake and refreshments. The prizes for the scavenger hunt will be awarded at the event, and a commemorative video for the 50th anniversary of the merger will be revealed.

In order for the commission to make this celebration as successful as possible, the Historic Preservation Commission needs your help! All sponsors that donate $100 or more or an equivalent prize to include in the prize baskets will receive the following:
- Business logo on the Scavenger Hunt form and in the credits for the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Video
- Complementary DVD of the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Video
- “Thank You” message in the Milton Courier
