The City of Milton Public Works Department will be conducting tree trimming throughout the winter months as time and weather permit.  Trees and shrubs lower than 15 feet over the road or lower than 8 feet over the sidewalk will be trimmed such that they should not exceed the limits for 3 years.  This includes trees and shrubs in the terrace/right-of-way.   The branches are trimmed back to the trunk following UW-Extension tree trimming standards.  This may also include hazardous trees or branches of trees on private property that overhang streets and sidewalks.
