The City of Milton has declared these items as surplus and will be accepting sealed bids for the sale of these items. The items include bikes, bookshelves, chairs, cabinets, miscellaneous office equipment, microfiche reader, office furniture, file cabinets, tables, literature racks, tires, power tools, sinks, exit lights, truck body, transmission hoist, engine stand, used garage furnaces, etc.
All items will be sold as is. Viewing items shall be at the Public Works Garage, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am – 10:00 am.
If you are interested in bidding on these items, a bid form containing the complete list of items may be picked up at Milton City Hall, at the Public Works Garage, or on the City’s website (http://milton-wi.gov/DocumentCenter/View/627).
Bid prices must be submitted by Wednesday, April 27 at 3:00 pm to Milton City Hall, 710 S. Janesville St, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City of Milton Council Chambers. High bidder will be notified and items must be paid for and removed by 3:00 pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
City of Milton reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, or to accept the bid most advantageous to the City. Questions should be directed to the Public Works Department at 608-868-6914.
