The City of Milton will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony for the Milton Area Veterans Memorial on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 9 a.m. (weather permitting). The Parks & Recreation Commission and several additional community volunteers surpassed their initial fundraising goals and will officially begin construction on the memorial on Monday. The Dedication Ceremony, the official opening of the memorial, will take place on July 5, 2014 at 2 p.m.
