Join the Goodrich Square Steering Committee at Gophers at The Caddy Shack, 229 N. Janesville Street, on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. for a delicious burger, wrap, pizza, or sandwich to help support the recently approved Goodrich Square Splash Park. Gophers will donate 10% of all food and beverage sales plus tips to the Goodrich Square Splash Park Fund.
While you are at Gophers, get some fresh air and play a round of mini golf or hit a bucket of balls.
The Goodrich Square Splash Park is one component of an overall revitalization plan for the Goodrich Square downtown district, located on Milton’s eastside. The plan was developed in response to the anticipated construction of the State Highway 26 bypass that will be completed in 2013. The overall goals for the splash park are to bring people to Milton to visit the many businesses in the community and to provide an amenity to Milton’s residents and visitors that currently does not exist in the region.
The Goodrich Square Steering Committee welcomes additional gifts from community members and businesses. Gifts to support the splash park can be sent to the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, c/o the Goodrich Square Splash Park Fund, 26 South Jackson Street, Janesville, WI 53548. Checks should be made payable to the Goodrich Square Splash Park Fund. Donations can also be made online through the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin (http://www.cfsw.org). The Goodrich Square Steering Committee will also accept in-kind donations.
