In 2023, new equipment will be added to Lamar Park as pictured above. The new equipment will feature a Volta Inclusive Spinner (merry-go-round), new swings to include an Inclusive Swing Seat and Konnection Swing Seat, ramps for wheelchair accessibility, and multiple slides and climbing opportunities.
The Parks & Recreation Commission is looking for sponsors to partner on this project. There are four levels of sponsorship available:
- Bronze Level ($100 - $999) - Recognition in press releases, the City's website and other media communications, and donor recognition board.
- Silver Level ($1,000 - $4,999) - Bronze Level and larger recognition on the donor board.
- Gold Level ($5,000 - $9,999) - Silver Level, larger recognition on the donor board, sponsorship of a specific feature in the playground. Contact City Hall for details.
- Platinum Level ($10,000+) - Gold Level, larger recognition on the donor board, and sponsorship of a specific feature at the playground. Contact City Hall for options.
