With Rock County moving to Phase 2 of their Reopening Phased Plan, the City of Milton will also move to Phase 2 of the City’s Reopening Phased Plan. This means City of Milton facilities will be open again for in-person transactions. Opening dates for the facilities are as follows:
- Milton Public Library – Thursday, March 4
- City Hall, Police Department, and Municipal Court – Monday, March 8
- Public Works Department – Tuesday, March 23 (tentative)
Please Note: Face masks or cloth face coverings continue to be required in City of Milton facilities. Facilities are defined as City Hall, Public Works Facility, Police Department and Municipal Court, Milton Public Library, and the water/wastewater utility offices. This does not include parks or other outdoor spaces and there is also an exemption for polling locations. If a visitor to one of these facilities doesn’t have a mask, one will be provided.
While our facilities are opening to the public, we continue to encourage community members to utilize contactless service options when they can. Information about these options are available on the City’s website: www.milton-wi.gov/COVID19.
In addition to opening facilities, the City will also resume park rentals. We will be working on processing park rental applications we’ve received over the last few months while we were in Phase 1.
