Responsibilities
The City Treasurer is under the direction of the City Administrator / Finance Director. The City Treasurer is responsible for the accounting, reporting, and management of the city’s financial activities, including water, sewer, and stormwater utilities. Financial activities include: 
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable 
  • Cash management
  • Debt administration
  • Budget development
  • Budgetary and accounting controls
  • Payroll
  • Real estate and personal property tax collection
  • Utility bill collection
