2019 Annual Budget

Below are the Preliminary 2019 Budget Documents presented to the Common Council on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.  These documents only refer to the General Fund and related to the annual tax levy.  As updates to the Council are provided, they will be updated on this page.  

The remaining scheduled Council meetings regarding the 2019 budget are as follows, and will take place in the Council Chambers located at City Hall, 710 S. Janesville Street:
  • Wednesday, November 7, 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday, November 13, 6:00 pm – This is required Public Hearing on the 2019 budget
  • Tuesday, November 20, 6:00 pm – Potential adoption of the 2019 budget
  • Tuesday, November 27, 6:00 pm (if needed) – If the 2019 budget is not adopted on November 20, it would be scheduled for this evening
The Utility Funds and TID budgets have not been presented yet.  If you are seeking additional detail/breakdown on any line item or any questions about the 2019 budget, please contact Finance Director/Treasurer, Dan Nelson at or 608-868-6900 ext. 3.
